INTERNS & ALUMNI

Asher graduated this Spring 2022 with his B.A. in Strategic Communications. He started with an internship with connections in the department and learned to use Adobe Creative Suite Programs to create for clients. His client work experience allowed him to flourish in courses such as COMM 590.

Amanda is a graduate student at Old Dominion. With no previous background, she was able to learn how to create with programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to help execute her ideas for her client, the Chesapeake Humane Society.

Kayla is a graduate student in the Lifespan and Digital Communication program. Through an assistantship in the department, she was allowed the opportunity to work with Dr. Ted Gournelos to create the ROAR website. She also has learned to use Adobe Creative Suite programs to help make collateral for the Strategic Communications program.

Meaghan graduated this Spring 2022 with an M.A. Institute of Humanities. She has learned how to use the amenities of the Den and transitioned those skills to her job. Meaghan loved attending the workshop and getting the opportunities to test out new skills and create for clients.
